Games & Sports : 2009– 2010

Every Effort is made to identify the Sports talent and encouragement is made to make best use of sporting facilities Special Instructors on contractual basis are appointed to train students in certain games. Coaching is given for boys and girls in Volley Ball, Shuttle Badminton & Table Tennis from expert Coaches.

Achievements for the year 2009-10

In KVS National Sport Meet - 2009, Kum. Hanisha Nirmala of class VIII got 2nd position in 4x100 metres relay in under-14 category, held at Delhi region.

Thirty-Eight students participated at the Cluster Level games in Table Tennis, Volley Ball, Skating,Badminton and Athletics held at KVS, Bellary.

Twenty two students selected for regional level tournaments in different Sports & Games like Badminton, Volley Ball, Table tennis and Skating.

Achievements at KVS National level held at Hyderabad region: Two students Master Kasiraj-class XII & Master Manohar-class XI

Thirty five students participated in Football, Athletics, Badminton, Table tennis and volley Ball held at Taluk level Dasara sports meet 2008 at Hospet.

Two students Kum.Abisa khader class XII and Kumari Shasbnam class-XII participated in Table tennis at District level Dasara sports meet held at Mysore and received winners Trophy.

Annual sports meet was conducted on 26/01/09.
