GENESIS OF THE VIDYALAYA

Our Vidyalaya had modest beginning in the year 1997, when it was a toddler of a school, with just 169 students, throbbing to stand on its feet.

The sanction for the launch of K. V. T. B. Dam, came in August 1997, and Mr. M. V. R. Vidyasagar, the then secretary, T.B. Board, spear-headed the efforts for the establishment of a K.V. in Hospet.

The K.V. came into existence on 17 th September, 1997.

K.V. T.B. Dam, started its evolution as a force raring to expand, in a temporary building arranged by the T.B. Board, within its premises.
